Creating Custom Phone Wallpapers from Personal Photos
Users want to turn their favorite photos into phone wallpapers, but phone screens require specific dimensions and aspect ratios. A landscape photo needs cropping to portrait orientation without losing the main subject.
Workflow
- Select the photo to use as a wallpaper
- Use the Image Cropper to crop the photo to a 9:19.5 or 9:16 portrait aspect ratio, centering the subject
- Use the Image Resizer to scale to the phone's screen resolution (e.g. 1170x2532 for iPhone, 1080x2400 for Android)
- Use the Image Compressor to optimize the file size without visible quality loss
- Save and transfer the wallpaper to the phone
- Set as the home screen or lock screen wallpaper
