About Watermark Image
Add text watermarks to JPEG, PNG, and WebP images directly in your browser. Customize the text, opacity, color, and layout. Choose between a single centered watermark or a repeating tiled pattern.
How It Works
The image is drawn onto a Canvas element, then text is rendered on top using the Canvas 2D text API with configurable opacity, rotation, and color. The tiled mode repeats the text across the entire image to prevent cropping-based removal.
Step by Step
- 1 Upload one or more images (JPEG, PNG, or WebP)
- 2 Enter your watermark text (e.g. your name, CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT)
- 3 Adjust opacity, color, and rotation
- 4 Choose single centered or repeating tiled watermark
- 5 Click Watermark to process your images
- 6 Download the watermarked results
Tips
- Use tiled (repeating) watermarks to prevent removal by cropping.
- 30-40% opacity is usually visible without obscuring the image.
- Gray or white text works well on most photos.
- For dark images, use white text with higher opacity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use an image/logo as a watermark?
Currently only text watermarks are supported. Image watermarks may be added in the future.
Can the watermark be removed?
The watermark is permanently rendered into the image pixels. It cannot be removed without image editing software.
