About Crop Image
Crop JPEG, PNG, and WebP images to standard aspect ratios (1:1 square, 16:9 widescreen, 4:3, 3:2) or specify custom crop dimensions. The crop is always centered on the image.
How It Works
The tool calculates the largest possible crop area that matches your chosen aspect ratio, centered on the original image. It then uses the Canvas API to extract and re-encode just that region.
Step by Step
- 1 Upload one or more images (JPEG, PNG, or WebP)
- 2 Choose an aspect ratio (1:1, 16:9, 4:3, etc.) or select Custom
- 3 For custom mode, enter the exact crop width and height in pixels
- 4 Click Crop to process your images
- 5 Download the cropped results
Tips
- Use 1:1 for profile pictures and Instagram posts.
- Use 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and widescreen displays.
- Use 4:3 for standard photos and presentations.
- The crop is always centered — position your subject accordingly.
